Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products. You will handle inquiries, locate merchandise, and support store operations while delivering friendly, solution-oriented service.

The role emphasizes reliability, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training and growth opportunities are available, including bilingual support and potential certification

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input and access information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones or tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds with team lifting when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
