Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Summerville, SC. You will welcome customers, help them choose products, and support them through the shopping and checkout process across various departments. The role offers development opportunities and a chance to learn trade skills through Lowe’s programs.

You’ll interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and participate in stocking and merchandising tasks to ensure a great in-store experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic arithmetic.
• 6 months experience with retail tech such as smartphones/tablets.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items as expected.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
