Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You'll engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, process orders, and maintain attractive departments while working in-store at Lowe's.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience handling basic data entry.
• 6 months using common retail tech (smartphones/tablets).
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic (add/subtract).
• Able to stand or sit for long periods as required.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted; heavier lifts with help.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
