Job summary

Human Touch Home Health in Virginia is seeking compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists for PRN home health opportunities across Northern Virginia. You will conduct in-home evaluations, develop plans of care, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while building your caseload around availability.

You must hold an active Virginia SLP license and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a valid driver's license for travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Virginia SLP license.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete speech therapy evaluations in patients' homes.
• Develop individualized plans of care.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide dysphagia treatment and education as appropriate.
• Help patients improve functional communication and cognitive skills.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the care team.
• Complete accurate documentation using WellSky.
• Participate in reassessments and discharge planning.

We have patient needs across Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church, with opportunities in communities including McLean, Vienna, Annandale, Springfield, Burke, Reston, Herndon, Chantilly, Centreville, Leesburg, Ashburn, Sterling, Manassas, Gainesville, Haymarket, Woodbridge, Dumfries, and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do

• Complete speech therapy evaluations in patients' homes

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License Required
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently in patients' homes
• Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required
• WellSky Experience is a Plus
