Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN home health coverage role serving Duval and Clay County, Florida. The position focuses on evaluating and treating adult patients in home settings with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders, plus AAC support. A strong license, CCC-SLP, and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology (state where assigned).
• CCC-SLP with graduate coursework and supervised practicum in an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals with hearing loss or communication needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
