Job summary

Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice provider, invites a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Florida team as a PRN position. You will assess and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive communication, swallowing disorders in community-based care.

Responsibilities include aural rehabilitation and AAC support, with potential for flexible scheduling and a strong benefits package consistent with a PRN role. Current licensure and CCC-SLP are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in Florida (FL).
• Current CCC-SLP certification with appropriate supervised experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
