Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults at patients' homes across Florida.

Required is an active state licensure, a CCC-SLP, and CPR certification; one year of experience is preferred. Responsibilities include aural rehabilitation and AAC support as part of comprehensive home-based care.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
