Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist on a PRN basis to deliver comprehensive adult speech, language, cognitive and swallowing therapy in patients’ homes. You will assess and treat communication disorders, provide AAC support and work within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you are assigned to work.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
