Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for part-time or PRN day shifts in Virginia. You will assess and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in home care settings, and provide AAC support as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered licensure to practice speech-language pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with required supervised CFY if applicable.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf/hard-of-hearing individuals and AAC support where needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
