Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time weekday position in Virginia. You will assess, diagnose, and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in home health settings.

Responsibilities include providing aural rehabilitation, AAC support, and collaborating with care teams to help patients heal at home. Must hold current state license, CCC-SLP, and CPR certification; prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with graduate coursework and accredited practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
