Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Part Time, Weekdays Speech Pathologist to assess and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in home settings.

You will provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support, work with families, and collaborate with care teams. Must hold a state license and CCC-SLP, CPR certification. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered state license to practice speech pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification from a program accredited by the CAA.
• CPR certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for individuals with severe communication or hearing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
