Job summary
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes under physician oversight. You will evaluate language, speech, cognition, and swallowing disorders, and treat patients in settings ranging from single-family homes to memory care communities.
The role requires a current state SLP license and the ability to drive in various weather conditions, with travel between patient locations and flexible daytime hours integral to home health
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must possess automobile liability insurance.
- Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
- Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
- Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in home settings.
- Evaluate and treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders.
- Support patients who have experienced a stroke and those with Parkinson’s disease or dementia.
