Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Home Health Department. You will provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes, promote wellness, and maintain a standard weekday schedule with periodic on-call duties.

Qualified RNs must hold Iowa licensure or multi-state eligibility; ACLS/BLS is a plus and required for employment. A $5,000 sign-on/retention bonus is offered along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in Iowa or eligible for multi-state licensure.
• ACLS/BLS certification is a plus and required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training is a plus and required as an employee.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in home settings.
• Promote health and wellness for home health patients.
• Typical schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• On-call responsibilities every 4–5 weeks.

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (40 hours per week) in our Home Health Department for a Registered Nurse (RN).

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing skilled-nursing care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses in their homes. In addition be able to promote health and wellness.
• Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• On call every 4-5 weeks

Requirements

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN), in Iowa and/or meets the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
• ACLS/BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
