Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in clients' homes, following physician orders and an individualized care plan. You will supervise LPNs and aides, coordinate with the health care team, and ensure documentation and HIPAA compliance.

You will assess patients, develop and oversee care plans, participate in case conferences, and support orientation for new staff while upholding VNA core values and quality

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR.
• Minimum one year work experience in hospice, home health, geriatrics, or medical/surgical nursing.
• Current Florida driver’s license.
• Current automobile insurance per VNA requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with physician orders.
• Conduct initial assessment and establish plan of treatment with data collection and care plan.
• Coordinate services and collaborate with the health care team for client caseload.
• Assess patient response to treatment and revise interventions as needed.
• Communicate with physician to update the plan and provide status reports.
