Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a 13‑week assignment in home health. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with $50 per hour pay and opportunities to impact patients in their homes.

Requirements include 1 year of home health experience with OASIS; CPR certification; and an active RN license in the assigned state. Company benefits apply with eligibility depending on position and shift status.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current RN license for the state(s) assigned.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• May be assigned RN visits as member of care team, and/or supervise a patient caseload including LPNs and HHAs.
• Performs patient comprehensive assessments and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Facilitates communication and follow-up through care coordination.
• Initiates, plans and provides staff education and performs competency validation as needed.
• Completes documentation timely, accurately, and per guidelines (OASIS, SOC/admissions, ABNs, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
