Job summary

Amedisys is a leading home health and hospice provider, seeking an After-Hours RN / On-Call RN to support patients in the Burlington area. The RN will perform assessments, collaborate with the care team, and promote patient independence while on-call, with a flexible schedule and a pay range reflecting market rates for this role.

Responsibilities include on-call coverage, documentation, and supervision of LPNs and HHAs.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• One (1+) year of clinical RN experience or approval by VP Clinical if less than 1 year.
• Valid driver's license and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and collaborate with care team to implement a plan of care.
• Make referrals to other disciplines as needed and document rationale.
• Educate patients to promote self-care and independence.
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Communicate patient progress to clinical manager and care team.
• Provide staff education and participate in on-call duties.
