Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for contract–full-time work in Opp, Alabama. The role delivers one-on-one skilled nursing care at the patient’s home under a physician-directed plan, with duties spanning home visits and occasional transport to appointments.

Required licensure as an RN in the practiced state, CPR if applicable, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Solid home health experience is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where the RN will practice (RN licensure).
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care per physician-ordered individualized patient care plan.
• Care is delivered mainly in the patient’s home or a residential setting but may transfer outside the home during appointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance withthe physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’shome or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home duringappointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state inwhich the RN will practice
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
