Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a Home Health Travel assignment in Gallatin, TN. Under RN supervision, you will provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes and accompany them to appointments when indicated.

The role requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, active LPN license in Tennessee, CPR as needed, and compliance with applicable health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed as LPN/LVN in Tennessee.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience; home care preferred.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray as required.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Accompany patients to appointments when indicated.
• Under RN supervision, collaborate with care team and document care.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN/LVN(Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse) – Home Health provides skilled one-on-one nursing care to patients in their home and accompanies them when indicated to appointments, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursingprogram
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursein the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice
• One year prior professional nursing experience, home careexperience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
