HomeFirst Home Healthcare in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health care team on a PRN basis. The RN will provide one-on-one patient care, conduct assessments, and educate families in the home setting.

Experience in home health and Oasis experience preferred. Competitive pay with pay-per-visit rates ($45 - $135), mileage reimbursement, and referral bonus plan. A flexible schedule supports strong patient outcomes and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for conducting one-on-one patient care and patient / family teaching in the home setting. The RN will perform patient assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care. Additional responsibilities include regular communications with our clinical management team and timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse educational program
• Current Registered Nurse / RN license within the state of practice
• Home Health experience preferred
• Oasis experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, collaboration, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Strong initiative, follow through, process orientation, attention-to-detail
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
