Job summary

PARS Therapy in Richmond, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in their recovery journey. You will deliver PTA services in patients' homes, under the supervision of a licensed PT, aiming to restore mobility and independence.

You will tailor care plans, educate clients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in the state of Texas (licensure required).
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated clinical PTA experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in patient care.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques in physical therapy.
• Professional and compassionate when educating and engaging with patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home-based physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions for mobility and function.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support non-surgical approaches and conservative care.
• Develop individualized care plans and utilize proven treatment techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes and records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist.
