Job summary

PARS Therapy in Forney, TX is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients through their recovery journey. In this role, you will help restore mobility, improve functional independence, and enhance quality of life by delivering personalized, evidence-based care in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The successful candidate will have an active TX PTA license, CPR certification, and liability

Qualifications

• Active TX PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services under supervision.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions for mobility.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to patient conditions and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to supervising therapist.
• Document all services and maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
