PARS Therapy in Stafford, TX is hiring a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This onsite role supports patients through recovery, helping restore function and independence in home settings.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, participate in interdisciplinary care, document progress, and contribute to individualized care plans emphasizing safety, mobility, and quality of life for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license
• Current CPR certification
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt care approaches to patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional and mobility needs
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce reliance on medications through therapeutic interventions
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques
• Create wellness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination and balance
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Accurately document services and maintain patient records
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising therapist
