Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Clinical PTA experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to adapt care approaches.
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT services in home setting under licensed PT supervision.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Promote non-surgical options through rehabilitation.
• Develop individualized care plans and use proven techniques.
• Create wellness programs tailored to each patient's needs.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehab.
• Improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and document treatment outcomes.
