PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in the Poteet and Pleasanton, TX areas. You will help restore mobility, independence, and overall well‑being in a home health setting beneath a licensed PT.

The role emphasizes personalized care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications include an active Texas PTA license and CPR certification; experience in home health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TX PTA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Clinical PTA experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Identify patient goals and implement mobility and functional interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medications through rehab.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans with proven techniques.
• Create wellness programs tailored to patient conditions and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in their rehabilitation.
• Document services accurately and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
