Job summary

PARS Therapy in Texas is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in Poteet and Pleasanton. You will deliver in-home therapy under a licensed Physical Therapist, helping restore mobility, independence, and quality of life.

This role emphasizes collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, patient education, documentation, and development of individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license and CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptable care approaches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional and mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to promote movement and independence.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans and wellness programs.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation and recovery; document progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
