Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Clinical PTA experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to different patient personalities and needs.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home PT services under supervision of a licensed PT in the patient’s home.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehab.
• Promote strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
• Collaborate with other health professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and communicate updates.
• Maintain timely, complete patient records and perform other duties as assigned.
