Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Jasper, TX to support patient recovery. You will work under a licensed PT to implement individualized care plans in the home setting, aiming to restore mobility and independence with evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license active and in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptable care approaches.
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Be professional and compassionate when educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Help identify patient goals and implement mobility interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Promote alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance.
• Develop individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the care team.
• Document all services and maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
