PARS Therapy in South Dallas, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in their recovery at home, helping restore mobility and independence with personalized care.

You will work under a licensed PT, develop care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safe, effective rehabilitation and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in patient care.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques.
• Professional and compassionate approach when educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Identify patient goals and implement mobility-focused interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Promote alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes to the supervising therapist.
• Document services and maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
