Job summary

PARS Therapy in Bedford, TX is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients throughout their recovery journey. In this onsite role, you will help restore mobility and independence by delivering personalized home-based therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized care plans, educate patients, and promote safer, self-directed rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Strong clinical PTA experience.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to patients.
• Professional and compassionate in educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Identify patient goals and implement mobility interventions.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Promote alternatives to surgery and reduce reliance on medications through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation and recovery.
• Monitor progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
