Mercy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the supervising Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy. You will perform delegated procedures, modify treatments within the plan, document progress, and ensure patient safety and dignity.

The role requires an Associate's degree, current PTA licensure in the applicable state, and may be entry-level. BLS certification is preferred, with Mercy offering strong benefits and a supportive team environment.

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current license to perform as a PTA from the Board of Physical Therapy in the applicable State of practice.
• Entry-level eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy and follow established treatment plans.
• Document patient progress notes and monitor safety and patient status.
• Address age-specific patient needs and ensure compassionate care.
• Provide technical assistance and direction to the Physical Therapy aide and coordinate department workload.
