Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation. You will perform therapy procedures, adapt treatments under supervision, and document patient progress while ensuring safety and quality of care.

You will address age-specific needs and help manage the department with the PT, addressing patient comfort and safety. Mercy values teamwork, compassion, and a patient-first mindset across a supportive hospital

Formación

• Associate's degree required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Board of Physical Therapy in the applicable state.
• Entry-level experience acceptable.
• Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing therapy and related tasks.
• Document patient progress notes.
• Ensure patient safety and address age-specific needs.
• Coordinate workload and supervise the Physical Therapy aide as directed.
• Identify and report patient safety issues as they arise.
