Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Hawaii to join our Oahu Visits team. You will support licensed Physical Therapists to deliver compassionate, high‑quality home health care through targeted therapies and patient education, enabling clients to improve or maintain mobility and function.

Responsibilities include conducting therapeutic exercises, gait training, and documenting progress using electronic records, with competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Two-year college level PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Two years of PTA experience with a satisfactory proficiency exam result.

Responsibilities

• Partner with an experienced Physical Therapist on the BAYADA Home Health Care team.
• Assist clients to attain or maintain optimal physical wellbeing through treatment, tests, client education and interventions as delegated by a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
• Educate clients, family members, and other representatives in rehabilitative care to promote health, safety and independence.
• Accurately document observations, interventions and evaluations in the client record using a touch pad tablet.
