The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide PT services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in home health settings in Washington state.

The role supports patients in achieving and maintaining function at home, with responsibilities spanning direct therapy, patient education, and documentation. Candidates must be licensed as a PT assistant, have completed a CAPTE-approved program and hold current CPR certification.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed PT assistant where the HHA is located
• Must have graduated from a CAPTE approved PT assistant program and passed a national exam
• Current CPR certification required

Aufgaben

• Provide direct physical therapy in line with the physical therapist's directions and plan of care
• Treat patients to relieve pain and restore function
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and gait/transfer training
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, massage as appropriate
• document patient progress and coordinate care with the PT and organization
• Instruct patients on use of assistive devices and prosthetics
• Maintain clinical records and participate in team meetings
