Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver home health PT services under supervision and in accordance with the plan of care. You will observe patient responses, document progress, and coordinate with the supervising physical therapist and care team.

This full-time position in New Castle County offers pay of $41.00–$51.00 per hour, a $5,000 signing bonus, and benefits including medical plans, PTO, wellness rewards, counseling, 401(k) with match, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited PTA program per CAPTE.
• One year of PTA experience in home health is preferred.
• CPR certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under supervision per the plan of care.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document supervisory activities and patient progress.
• Coordinate with care teams and community resources.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with care standards.
