Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for the VNA Certified division. You will provide timely, accurate treatments and screens, work under a licensed PT, and communicate with office staff to ensure quality patient care.

Pay is $50 per hour/visit, with full- and part-time scheduling options. The role includes comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and access to documentation tablets to support efficient charting and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• Current TB test or the ability to obtain one.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services as prescribed by the physician under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Follow policies and procedures and conform to patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws.
• Carry out techniques according to goals and treatment programs.
• Document per policy and maintain effective communication with the care team.
• Coordinate services and participate in discharge planning with care teams.
• Record hours worked and billable time as required by company policy.
