Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for our VNA Certified division. You will provide timely and accurate treatments and screens, while maintaining clinical judgment and clear communication with the supervising therapist and office staff.

This role offers per-visit pay, flexible full-time or part-time schedules, and nationwide support. Clinicians enjoy weekly pay, benefits eligibility within the ACA framework, and access to documentation tools and devices

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted state license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services as prescribed by the physician under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Follow policies and procedures and conform to patient care standards and state laws.
• Carry out techniques according to goals and treatment programs.
• Administer care to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate services with care teams and families.
• Share knowledge to improve performance of learners.
• Document according to policy with minimal supervision.
• Document effectively to avoid payer denials review.
• Update self on patient's clinical condition.
• Maintain communication between therapists, staff and family.
• Record hours worked and billable time per policy.
• Serve as a resource for therapists and staff.
