Job summary

Amedisys is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team in the Atlanta area (Roswell, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs). This full-time daytime role provides PTA services under a supervising PT, with mileage reimbursement and growth opportunities.

The position requires an active PTA license in Georgia, CAPTE-accredited education, CPR certification, and 1 year of PTA experience preferred. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the assigned state.
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program (CAPTE).
• One year of related PTA experience for home health care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT and plan of care.
• Observe, record and report patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and clinicians.
• Promote wellness and prevention; document supervisory activities in medical records.
• Coordinate with agency care providers for referrals to community resources.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and assist with follow-up care planning.
