Job summary

Adaptive Home Health recruits Physical Therapist Assistants to deliver skilled PTA visits in patients' homes across Texas, under the supervision of a PT.

You will focus on gait, transfers, strengthening, home safety, and caregiver coaching, while using HCHB for documentation and enjoying a flexible schedule and a per-visit pay model.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and independence in the field.
• Comfort escalating changes to PT/RN/MD and documenting rationale.
• Strong communication and documentation.
• Reliable follow-through on treatment plans and goals.
• Must have driver’s license and willing to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PTA visits in the home under supervising PT’s plan of care.
• Implement treatment plans focusing on gait, transfers, strengthening, and home safety.
• Track progress and communicate updates to supervising PT.
• Coordinate with care team and escalate changes as needed.
• Coach patients and caregivers with practical home programs.
• Document promptly in HCHB with accuracy.
