Job summary

Adaptive Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled visits in patients' homes across Texas. You will work under a supervising PT, deliver mobility-focused therapy, and help patients regain function while promoting home safety.

This field-based role offers a productivity-based compensation model (58 dollars per point, 30 points per week) and schedule flexibility, with Monday–Friday plus occasional weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Clear communication and documentation.
• Reliable follow-through on treatment plans and goals.
• Willingness to travel daily across assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled PTA visits in the home under the supervising PT’s plan of care.
• Execute treatment plans focusing on gait/balance, transfers, strengthening, and home safety.
• Set/track objective progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Coordinate with care team and elevate changes in condition when needed.
• Coach patients and caregivers with practical home programs.
