Job summary

All County Home Health & Hospice in the Greater San Antonio area seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver PT services under the direction of a licensed PT and the physician's plan of care.

You will support patients in therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of modalities, maintain patient records, and participate in team meetings. Requires an accredited PTA program, state license, CPR, and valid driving in Texas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by APTA.
• Current state certification or license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy under the PT's directions and plan of care.
• Instructs and assists patients with therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Utilizes modalities such as heat, cold, light, ultrasound as directed.
• Maintains clinical notes and patient records within required timeframes.
• Participates in Home Health team meetings and in-service education.
