Job summary

TheraCare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time Home Health role in San Antonio, TX. Provide in-home physical therapy to adults and seniors in their homes, delivering one-on-one care with autonomy to shape your daily schedule.

You will implement Plans of Care, address orthopedic to neurology conditions, and educate families while maintaining documentation and HIPAA compliance. A supportive team and ongoing professional development are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in Texas.
• Home Health experience (1 year required).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled home health PTA interventions under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement and carry out Plans of Care developed by the supervising PT.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical conditions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, gait, balance, and functional mobility activities.
• Apply manual therapy techniques and selected modalities as ordered.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
