Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the Northern PG County area (Maryland). This full-time weekday role offers a $5,000 bonus and pay ranging from $45.00/hr to $57.00/hr, with territory coverage in Northern PG County to support patients at home.

The PTA works under a supervising PT to deliver care and promote patient wellness in the home setting. Eligible candidates hold a state PTA license with CAPTE accreditation and CPR certification, with at least one year

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.

Responsabilités

• Provides physical therapy services under supervision and in accordance with the plan of care.
• Records patient responses and reports changes to supervising PT and clinicians.
• Maintains documentation of supervisory activities in the patient’s medical record.
• Monitors patient progress and participates in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
