Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Pearland, TX. You will evaluate patients at their homes, design individualized plans, and deliver evidence-based care to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PT license, have a graduate degree in physical therapy, and preferably experience in home health or rehab settings. Excellent communication and adaptability are essential for empowering patients toward greater independence.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for Texas PT license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Adapt care approaches to diverse patient needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor with patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend falls prevention strategies.
• Deliver compassionate care to empower independence.
