Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Friendswood, TX. You will evaluate patients in their homes, design individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in TX
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patients
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques
• Excellent communication skills and patient education abilities

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes using digital platforms
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies
• Deliver compassionate care and empower patients toward independence
