Job summary

PARS Therapy in Central Waco, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team. You will evaluate patients at home, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes digitally.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and prevent falls or re-injury.
