Job summary

Mt. Vernon LHC MVI, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support home health patients with targeted exercises and patient education. You will follow the supervising PT's plan of care and coordinate with nurses and physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications include PTA license in the state, a valid driver's license or access to transportation, and weekend availability. Sign-on bonus offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instruct and aid patients in exercise, gait and ADL training.
• Observe and report patient response; coordinate with care team.
