Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing physical therapy in home care and the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, transfers, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments and patient needs.
