Job summary

Elite Home Health, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the plan of care established by a supervising PT in home health settings. You will instruct patients in exercises, monitor progress, and coordinate with nurses and physicians to ensure quality care.

Licensure as PTA, valid driver's license, and weekend availability are required. We offer a competitive pay range and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and implement the plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health care team.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapy within PTA scope.
• Provide care in diverse home environments regardless of patient demographics
