Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• CPR certification preferred or could be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care under supervising PT.
• Instructs on active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with health team.
• Educate patient and family on therapy within scope.
• Adapt to home settings and diverse patient needs.

Education

Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligible in state of practice
