Job summary

WVUHS Home Care in the United States seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in their homes, coordinating with the medical team to develop and adjust treatment plans.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, deliver therapies, supervise PTAs, educate patients and families, document progress, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while traveling to patient residences across assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Current physical therapist license in the applicable state(s).
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Eligible for APTA or WVPTA membership (preferred).
• Experience as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation procedures and develops treatment plans.
• Delivers and analyzes physical therapy treatments.
• Implements home programs and educates patients/families.
• Supervises PTAs and students.
• Communicates patient status with the home care team.
• Documents supervisory visits and paperwork timely.
